Do you have some contact to kids outside of preschool? Maybe they profit from more exposure with smaller groups with the security of you beeing around.

We have a very shy and afraid kid in a group of friends that formed in the first year of life of our kids, so they are all roughly the same age. We meet for smaller playdates with 2-4 kids of the group, oftentimes at one of our homes and that kids seems to have an easier time to open up a little more in this setting. She went from screaming in terror as my very outgoing and energetic kid got in a meter radius to playing together. Seems to seep into them beeing more open in daycare as well.

Or shes just growing out if it, who can really be sure about these things.

You may try different promting to make sure it only takes information out of your input. Also maybe look into ways to engineer your promt to give the LLM less room for creativity. Maybe make an assistant for the task. Claude is dev able to only use info off of your own input. We use it that way at work to make compliance stuff searchable.

Before being a parent i tried to do as much net positiv things for my energy level as possible.

• Go for a walk in nature as long as needed to feel decompressed
• Do something creative (with which i struggeled a lot because of overly high expectations for myself)
• Some caring for the body (e.g. a bath, nails, skincare, whatever)

But now as a parent, i just rest as much as possible and try not to feel bad for doing so.

Oh, these kids will make their experiences whatsoever. Even helicopter parents need to do stuff from time to time and kids somehow KNOW if they are not watched, ever for a second. It might take longer to make all the experience one needs, but they will get them one way or another.

Its good to know how. In many of those classes they will also teach us to trust our guts on stuff like that and GTFO before we need to fight. And i think thats equally important. Its really, really hard to defend yourself agains someone bigger and heavier than you. A fight not fought is a fight not lost.

And never forget that a weapon can also be used against oneself, especially if not used often or trained.
