You forget to mention that Hamas has been funded and seen as an asset by Israel many times to create division among Palestinians and therefore ensuring less of a chance of creating a Palestinian state.

And what Israel has done is much more egregious not only in terms of the number of innocent lives maimed, tortured and annihilated but through the manipulation of Palestinian leadership and brazen scorched earth policy so that Palestinians can never have their homes back. I could write a longer spiel and give you some references but I haven’t got the time. War is horror. Those who pay the worst price are the innocent children, women and men who just want to live their lives as you no doubt do. We are dripping with the bloody, visual proof of war crimes almost daily on our screens because of the sickness of our political and economic systems and the sense of entitlement of our so-called ‘elites’. We too have to figure out how to coexist and prosper so we better work out different systems.

But we might learn something from them.

There would be no Hamas if Israel had not done what it has been doing to the Palestinians since the 1940s. At least 100,000 Palestinians killed, many of them children, not to mention the maimed and wounded and the vile treatment they receive every day of their lives. Plants are staples for everyone. The so-called Western diet, despite it being so meat-centric, still relies heavily on wheat, soy and corn in the form of bread and as components of processed foods. In developing countries legumes, nuts and seeds are major sources of protein. In India, practicing Hindus in their millions are vegetarian and rely on legumes and dairy for their protein.

Why the sarcasm? Just because I don’t use a service does not mean I’m a not interested in discussing what is happening in society. I don’t drive trucks but I’ve also put up a post about electric trucks and other similar posts. With the petrol situation not going to improve any time soon and climate action desperately needed this is an opportune time for governments to get input from commuters such as yourself throughout Australia and start transforming our PT systems according to the needs of different population centres.

I think your last point about the faulty one CBD model was already recognised long ago. Sydney has 3 major business/admin centres: city centre, North Sydney and Parramatta. I haven’t lived in Sydney for a while so there may be more for all I know. There’s probably similar set ups in other cities but I don’t personally know.
