I evolved from a monkey.
I want to help the fediverse grow, but I have the tendency to get into arguments and say things in the heat of the moment that I later regret, which I feel is counterproductive to the whole fedigrow thing. So I’m working on trying make sure I have more good vibes around here.

Maybe that dehydrated food didn’t agree with them. Imagine being that guy to have clogged the spaceship’s toilet for the entire trip
Wait what. What happened to their toilet?

2·23 hours agoDrumheller, Alberta. It has a fascinating landscape, full of these dirt pillar things, don’t know how to describe it. And a lot of dinosaur bones are found in that area, so the entire town is dinosaur themed. All the streets are named after dinosaurs, and they have the world’s largest model of a t-rex, which you can pay to enter lol. The whole shtick is very corny but its worth driving through at least

Science@lemmy.ml•Chinese scientists reveal glowing plants that could light cities
3·2 days agoYour reasoning makes sense but we can’t really be sure until we let their seeds loose in the wild and see how they do. Bioluminescent animals and algae do exist. There’s no reason why there couldn’t be some unforeseen selective benefit that would allow these mutated glowing plants to thrive

2·2 days agoI read this while laying alone in a dark room and I’m almost starting to regret that decision… this is very spooky stuff. Gave me goosebumps.
The experience with the girl screaming is interesting. It reminds me of something that happened to me as a kid. Basically I heard a really loud cat scream but there was no cat there. It was really odd. I don’t know where the sound came from. I haven’t really thought of it much since then but your story reminded me of it.

I heard about the leak but I didnt hear about this particular detail. Where can I learn more about this?
