Fandom is getting more toxic. I scroll past three ads trying to get to the body of the article only to be stopped by a “View ad to continue” button. No thanks.

Ublock Origin blocks Fandom ads. I also have these additional filters in my list to get rid of other annoyances on Fandom pages to make them cleaner:

      fandom.com##.mobileDrawer
      fandom.com##.wds-mobile-drawer
      fandom.com##.global-explore-navigation
      fandom.com##.sitenotice-wrapper--visible.sitenotice-wrapper

Aggressive to the max. Even got past the ad blockers. The kinda fuckery needed to bypass these blockers is damn near rootkitting. Hideous.

Technically, Fandom is MediaWiki, just used for its evil aims.

Since Trek is nearing a big lull in activity in the next year or two, I think that might be the optimal time to start up a Memory Alpha fork.

I love all the kitbash ships.

I loved watching the show and recognizing little bits of like a pen or marker being used as a nacelle or a piece of a TOS model being crammed into a spot with the plastic tabs still attached to make it look different.

So many galaxy class models just reorganized.

When I was a kid, my sister intentionally threw my x-wing Lego set on the floor, and I never found all the pieces so I just started rearranging the xwing. And now I want a replacement for my xwing set… :(

One thing I kinda like about the Nebula is how inconvenient things are. The shuttle bays are now an obstacle course with the placement of the pod, and anyone whose room is in the rear of the saucer section…your view is now the either the pod or the star drive.
