I have the power, ohhhhh yeahhhhh!

Not really a meme, but where else am I gonna post this comedy genius?
I don’t think we need one, but this does kind of make me wish we has a weekly gif thread.
Teehee!

I don’t understand the hatred at the branding. NASCAR has done it for decades and no one cared. When I first started watching AAA 15 years ago I though stronglyh that Americans where leaving a lot of money on the table not taking advantage (they just played ads on the jumbo trown during matches, not to mention tthe ads on the canvas and giving away protomonal material, like free samples of new prodcuts, between matches.
I mean, NASCAR’s excessive branding has been a punchline at least as long as I’ve been alive, and I’m middle aged.
Also, I think people are frustrated at the increasing encroachment of advertising into our lives in general. People are sick of seeing ads where there were none before, and the past couple of years of WWE have seen them move extremely quickly to do exactly that.
@ImADifferentBird personally I detest intrusive ads, like YouTube ads ever 1 minute, I basically go out of my way to not buy shit I see advertised on YouTube just for that reason.
But unobtrusive ads, like those we see in the ring at wrestling, or on the local football club’s kit, I don’t mind, and sometimes I’ll even go out of my way to buy their shit because I appreciate their support of stuff I like.
NASCAR hasn’t shortened the length of their races to cram more commercials in front of fans watching on TV. A big complaint about Mania this year was a lot of the matches were short for no reason other than to give more TV time to advertisers.

Degenerate into something logical.
