Josh Barnett has been a great partner. His passion for the art of the FIGHT is 2nd to none. I will miss working with him Josh’s version of Bloodsport may have come to an end but the legacy lives on… The fight has just begun. Who or what is next for Bloodsport? Stay tuned 👀

This could get interesting after Barnett said nobody else would be allowed to use the name. Makes me wonder who has the actual rights to the name, if anyone.
Brett claims to own the trademark, which makes sense considering he ran the show with Matt Riddle before Josh Barnett. A cursory USPTO trademark search doesn’t show any Bloodsport trademarks related to wrestling at all, so who knows.
@ImADifferentBird I’ve never been a fan of Bloodsport, as I’ve never been a fan of MMA. But I know many folks love it, so more power to them. Barnett just being like “I thought I could make it into its own thing but it never got beyond a 'mania side show so nobody else can do it” is dumb so more power to GCW.
