The Pitt, yay (said sarcastically) another doctor show. Holy hell it is great.
Fallout, will it be another video game show abomination ALA Halo, or will it be TLOU, S1? It is awesome.
Dept Q, WOOT , again said sarcastically, another brit cop show, it is awesome.
I had to watch the Pitt in chunks.
It’s a great show but it is intense!
Absolutely it does not let up.
I don’t even know how to reply to this. Like knowing which one is good or bad.
You don’t see where i posted that they are great and or awesome?
The Love Boat. Cheesy ‘70s humor and laugh track but sweet stories. A good antidote to doom scrolling.
Such a brilliant concept from Aaron Spelling. Rotate between three storylines: one for the kids, one for the adults, and one for the retirees. Each storyline would feature a familiar face for that generation. The guest cast would use out of work actors gotten on the cheap, and actors from other shows in the same network subsidized by management.
The formula would be repeated later on shows like Fantasy Island. And also on more adult fare like “Hotel” and non-Spelling “Falcon Crest“ without the storylines aimed at kids.
ER after having watched the Pitt. If you enjoy remembering the mid 90s I would highly recommend it for the historical nostalgia.
It’s also a trip looking at 23 year old Noah Wyle and knowing what he’ll look like at 55, lol. It also has Ming-Na Weng who looks the exact same as she does today in the Boba Fett show, so it’s extra trippy.
I also caught the ER bug after watching The Pitt. I had watched episodes here and there throughout the 90s but never really watched it.
I wasn’t sure I could commit to watching 15 seasons, full 20+ episode seasons, but the show pulled me in and I couldn’t quit.
The show also has everyone in it at some point. Anyone who would later land a big role on a sitcom appears at some point in the hospital, so it’s crazy seeing everyone as their younger self. (Except Ming-Na Weng, who isn’t her younger self because she is unaged and always her younger self.)
I fully expected to hate Fallout but found myself enjoying it.
Same with King of the Hill (reboot). Probably the best reboot done to date. Will happily watch more.
