    I wish his pledges were actually worth as much as his threats are, but… his threats are actually pretty credible. He’s doing the Nixon mad man thing but seems like everyone’s believing it.

    I wish I had had the courage to buy these dips he’s been manufacturing, but every time I have this feeling that if I get in there, this time it won’t be like last time.

      Its hard to say.

      He’s known for being a pussy and running away once real opposition shows up (which Europe is doing).

      He’s also known as a liar, rapist, pedophile, conman, dementia riddled piece of shit.

      So only time will tell, unfortunately. The US is totally and utterly fucked no matter what because they won’t remove his ass. NATO with the USA is terminally ill, and every country on Earth would be psychotic to not immediately divest everything from the USA.

      I wonder if the asshole president of Argentina who’s conning American tax payers out of $40 billion USD is immediately converting it to gold the moment it reaches his bank account.

      I hope he does. A bunch of Trump loyalists following illegal orders get spanked as they make an attempt to invade. All the Trump loyalists will be court martialed for following illegal orders. Then the U.S. comes to a screeching halt and the markets go red. Republicans get the message from their corporate donors that it’s time to dump Trump. They’ll probably put Vance in charge and then nothing gets done politically as Vance is a bigger pussy than Trump and the GOP won’t know who to follow. Which leaves the DNC to take the remaining falling pieces and sweep the mid terms. Then we are looking at about 10 years of a Democrat and moderate majority making shit worse as they stooge for their corporate donors.

    Anyway, I don’t even see a pledge. I see a dishonest expression of regret:

    “I don’t want to use force. I won’t use force,” Trump said in a speech to government and business leaders in Davos. “Now everyone’s saying, ‘Oh good.’”

    That’s the energy of an abusive partner: “I don’t want to hurt you, but you’re giving me no option here.” It’s how they settle their conscience right before they hurt you.

      Yes that was a good speech, very much because it was a speech about facing a new reality, not saying directly but very clearly indicating that USA is not to be trusted, and we shouldn’t pretend as if they are.
      Canada has made 12 International trade and/or defense deals in 6 moths. 👍 😀
      That’s very impressive considering such deals usually take years to negotiate. And despite that I recently saw Canadians complain their government doesn’t do enough about the situation with USA? ⁉️

      In much the same way EU has escalated international deals to increase independence from USA.
      The clear winner here is of course China, so congratulations on that Trump!
