My favourite type of video about games

I’ve long advocated for this shorter wording for Claustrophobia effects. “Can’t be untapped” is a lot shorter and easier to parse than “doesn’t untap during its controller’s untap step” with minimal gameplay changes. I’m glad to see this happen.

It’s another N64-style 3D platformer released in 2023 with a goat protagonist trapped in a dream. This is an oddly narrow coincidence.

There’s also a digital adaptation of Clank, though I haven’t tried it myself. I know the same developers made Root Digital for Leder Games and that adaptation is well-received.

Half-Life Alyx did that to me several years ago. Amazingly, it ran acceptably on an RX 580, but that game combined with a then-recent monitor upgrade to 1440p high refresh rate convinced me to upgrade my graphics card.
