Ya, I don’t understand what the alternative is supposed to be. It was declining into lawlessness because police forces refused to do their jobs.
It is brutal. I’m not even 5’10" and my knees were pressed into the seat in front of me. I felt sorry for the guy across the aisle that was at least 6’.

3·3 天前Most keyboards have a numberpad to the right, so the left is the more ergonomic place for a mouse.
This is why I got a TKL keyboard. It took a long time for me to realize how far away I was reaching for my mouse.
To be fair, it doesn’t really make sense. If it said “transcription error” instead, I’m sure I would have gotten it a lot quicker 🙂.

Git is already a “distributed version control system” that does exactly what I’ve described. On the other hand, relying on centralized systems such as GitHub means that the “distributed” nature of it doesn’t make it any more resilient to failure.
