This meme is pointing out that some are hypocrites, but is by no means saying that all bodily autonomy advocates are all hypocrites. It is pointing out the hypocrisy of when a person advocates for the bodily autonomy of humans while not caring about the bodily autonomy of other animals.

Is this a regional thing? Most people I know in the USA are either enthusiastic about the product or at least intrigued by the concept.

Lemmy is assuming each pair of asterisks in your comment is supposed to italicize the text in between. You can negate the markdown formatting by using a backslash before each asterisk to specify that they should just be treated as asterisks instead of italicizing anything.

I like the solution in the picture. This way, whether the delivery person looks to the left or right of the road, there is a sign to help guide them. If they focus on the right, they see the box. If they focus on the left, they see the sign telling them to direct their focus on the right.
If there was instead just the sign/box both on the left as you suggest, a delivery person may focus on the right and miss it completely.
