trans xennial musician

I love synthesizers, all sorts of music (mostly electronic), b/cult movies, science fiction, DIY, graphics design, PC hardware, retro computing (Commodore <3), cooking, singing. I’m truly sorry to anyone I have unintentionally hurt in my confusion about my identity. Love and light. Sorry I can’t talk like a normal human being btw, I’m trying.

Here’s some of my music, grateful if you’d give it a listen: https://etherphon.bandcamp.com/

The stuff up there right now is a tad old, but it is some music that deals with my struggles with my realizations about my sexuality and gender, thus some of it is a little difficult and discordant. I’m working on some more joyous music. It’s 100% hardware based (synthesizers, samplers, sequencers, effects), no computer, DAW or AI involved in recording.

  • oh gosh I’m sorry I somehow missed your reply, thank you sooooo much!! <3

my eyebrows are actually a bit weak so i’m trying some of that growth serum otherwise I suppose I’ll have to work on penciling those. I went to the store to pickup some makeup the other day and came back with some eyeliners and 2 eye shadow palettes, I was a bit stunned about the primer, concealer, foundation bit so that bit is excellent :) I will return with the knowledge you have blessed me with :)

  • I mean it was a hyperbolic example, the point being that they often drive much slower than the posted limit and/or the speed of traffic, have problems merging, accelerate extremely slowly, brake unpredictably, or are confused. Of course the same could be said about any driver, but it’s just a basic fact of physiology that human faculties decline with age and that operating a heavy motor vehicle at that time can be hazardous, especially with the size of vehicles today.

  • Nice :) I’m also a big fan of the new natural lawns people are doing, yes the supermarket is a nightmare now, they have reduced the choices a lot, upped the prices, the quality is not consistent at all, half the times the produce or item I want is out. These are all things they told us would happen under communism lol

Yes that is perfect, and honestly the more worthwhile and rewarding experiences are to be had without stuff; sing to yourself everyday, see what the chipmunks are doing today, read a little, find some new recipes, play a little music. All things that slow the frenzied pace of modern life down a few notches :)

  • I don’t right now :( I have a small mini system that has a tape player but I don’t trust it, I’ve been meaning to buy a proper nice cassette deck like a Nakamichi, Denon, Tascam or something like that, like the old component stereo ones with decent transport mechanisms and play heads, but I keep putting it off for other things I guess. I don’t really wanna risk mangling them as some of them have recordings of music I made ages ago lol.

That makes pretty good sense to me. I think that’s part of my attraction to 80s new wave and synth pop so much, it was a time of such androgyny and gender line blurring, not needed to be defined, maybe part of it was for band image but it was still there, and a lot of the songs had more hopeful messages as well. It’s so poppy and fun to dance and sing along to as well :) So I totally get where you’re coming from, music is so powerful in that way how it can really transport you, and even choosing which medium to listen to it on makes a big difference in the mood which is a cool effect

I’ve semi-recently re-discovered my love for singing so Madonna, Tina Turner, Donna Summer, Steve Nicks, Cyndi Lauper, Blondie, Pat Benatar/the GoGos, The Bangles, Tiffany, Bjork, Siouxsie, Eurythmics/Annie Lennox, Bananarama etc. are all some go-to’s, so many amazing, talented ladies.

Haha weeeell, I don’t listen to it so much anymore, it’s a tad noisy for me these days, but that’s rad that your Dad is a fan, any fan of EN seems like they must be a pretty interesting person, it’s so visceral and raw
