You underestimate my capacity to store passwords in plaintext and iterate over all of them for no good reason

Haha that’s adorable I love it
I think it’s more an extra precautious thing than actual use, if you don’t even have 2 farms at the same time they definitely won’t interact with each other haha
Another aspect is lag prevention though
It could be useful to have things that far away if you plan on keeping your iron farm constantly loaded because the 100+ villagers can get heavy on the server
I’m going to assume Java because I don’t know anything about Bedrock but more information should be available there: https://minecraft.wiki/w/Iron_Golem#Spawning
The rules to keep in mind are that:
- a golem has to be more than 16 blocks away from any villager in every direction as fast as possible
- the panicking villagers (ones that can see a Zombie) will attempt to spawn in “a 17×13×17 box centered on the villager”
The breeder can be anywhere, you just want the breeding villagers to not be panicking and to be the only ones that can pathfind to beds (so in an entirely enclosed area)
The iron farm can also technically be any distance away as long as you remove any undesirable spawning spaces but it’ll be easier to have it 16 blocks away from other villagers and moving golems away from the entire setup
Looking awesome!

Technology@lemmy.world•Framework supporting far-right racists?English
396·6 months agoI spent a lot of time recommending Framework, I got family to buy a laptop. Their hardware is fundamentally a political statement that I respuct. Seeing them use a “no politics” fallacy hurts
:/

I know Credit Mutuel can provide you a physical card with a bunch of codes of which one is selected at random at auth time
Had family use it because they had a Huawei phone
Signal on both Android and IOS
Unfortunately not usable with Linux without a phone yet but so far the most accessible option
Ubuntu Touch has a planned release for September 24th! Eager to see what devices have a full compatibility rating to know what I’ll buy next
I’m in a similar position. My next phone will be a Linux device I just hope I can install Signal everything else I can do on my pc instead even if it’s less convenient
ExFat doesn’t support file permissions so a default value is used, I believe you can only change the permissions at mount time
Shorts as a format are a problem, infinite scroll is just too addictive and having a format that encourages grabbing your attention in the first milliseconds even more than normal videos drags quality down

I like it a lot! It’s elegant :)
