Bouyakhrichan, a billionaire who possesses bank accounts and properties around the world, promptly paid the cash and skipped town.
If it were just the paperwork not being filed, that’d be one thing, but given the low bail on someone who should obviously be a flight risk and the paperwork, I do kind of wonder whether that might be judicial corruption. I would hope that Spain would look into that.
Does the judge get to keep the bail money if they skip town or something? 😂

Interesting: although the Dutch news outlets carry extensive messages about Karim B and his escape, none of them mention that it was him threatening Princess Amalia or PM Rutte. Amalia actually went to Spain to study because of the increased danger in Amsterdam. And then they find Karim B. also in Spain…
