Amen to that. I wish torture porn could be uninvented. I am indifferent to gore but it has to be in service of the story. The story shouldn’t be in service of the gore.

the doll is just his avatar. He is indeed an old guy who is dead for most of the franchise because the writers wrote themselves into a corner early on. The first Saw movie is still a solid film with a pretty awesome twist at the end. Everything that came after the first one is just increasingly ridiculous nonsense.

In a sense I agree with him. You shall be judged by how you treat people who have limited means of retaliation. Like throwing garbage at homeless people, screaming at waiters/waitresses, meaningless petty acts towards retail workers. Fuck you. You are literally going out of your way to make another persons life worse.

I didn’t get it until absolutely everything is going wrong + no sleep, I had this weird urge to just be really mean to people who didn’t deserve it at all. I didn’t act on it but I can see why people would do it now.
