Rarely does a day go by where I’m not thankful my young adult years are pre-Internet. If I did something humiliating or had something humiliating done to me it was localized in impact and could be lived down because the evidence wasn’t faithfully duplicated for the rest of my life.
Anybody brought up in the Internet era will have every stupid thing they ever did, or every vile thing ever done to them recorded for posterity and following them around for the rest of their lives.
