      I wouldn’t be surprised if the homes were there long before the spaceport arrived. People in Texas often vote against their self interests, and then act shocked when the current administrations give land away to projects like this one. Even the article mentions how Trump wants to give away a national nature reserve to Elon for his exploding rockets to launch from.

        Yeah sorry I was making a crappy joke. These are definitely people who were already there before the state gave spacex everything they wanted, no questions asked.
