It’s more commonly referred to as ‘midhammer’ (as most things from 3rd until 7th are). But I don’t think splitting the community for the sake of it wouldn’t do anything positive. It’s mostly dead enough as is already.

For me the divide is more related to when they went public. Around third edition. Just my opinion though!
That said I painted a set of these, wait, no, two sets, and for some reason hated them. I found them repetitive and tedious, much to my own annoyance!
