The risk that you blow up a neighbor knocking on your front door, or a firefighter trying to get in and rescue you makes this not worthwhile.
Wire it to some sort of panic button, don’t make it automatic.
Recognize the person at the door? Don’t push it. ICE comes knocking? Say goodbye.
