The decision permitted the Trump administration to continue restricting inspections of the conditions inside immigration detention compounds.
It would never happen but most all streets/roads/etc are owned by local (city, county, state) groups. They could make their own laws dictating that federal vehicles/employees cannot travel on specific roads. Making it so federal government members can’t get to said facilities as well.
Maybe stupid laws should be met with stupid laws
Who is going to enforce it? These agents are busting into houses. You think they care about these imaginary lines on the road?
So, correct me if I’m wrong. Normally Congress gives money to the executive with oversight provisions. Checks and balances. If the executive doesn’t follow the rules - no more money.
But the “Big beautiful bill” doesn’t have a lot oversight provisions, so Trump can do whatever the fuck he wants with no oversight from congress. The GOP Congress basically wants a dictator, so they gave all their power to the executive with no checks. No?
He’s taken control of the revenue from Venezuelan oil which goes into his slush fund that has no congressional oversight
