It made (prospective store opener Jason Yu) particularly angry that his cousin was able to open a nail salon in Daly City in just a fraction of the time he spent on Matcha n’ More. She’s painting nails after a few months of effort, but he never did scoop any ice cream.
Regulation isn’t bad necessarily, but requiring permits without adding staff to keep the rate at a normal level is a terrible idea.
4-5yrs?? NYC does it in 6mo, even less sometimes. We gotta fix how slow the system is.
