I have an old LED maglite (Maybe 4D? not sure) and I haven’t replaced the batteries in probably almost 10 years and every time I come across it in storage I click it on just to see if it still works. Never fails

I think its just poorly worded and is referring to the age of the species as opposed to this specific shark.

I’m partway through Red Rising per a recommendation from a friend. Taking a break from my charge through all of Brandon Sanderson’s works to appreciate some different writing styles.
Seems like a small thing, but I really like Pierce Brown’s use of the true first person perspective. It gives the book an almost poetic feel and its not something I’ve seen used very often in fiction.

ironic because it’s a YouTube video, but this helped me shake a similar funk. It just kinda opened my eyes to how much you can actually just go do

bold of you to assume anyone in this com is going to read this in its entirety. I appreciate the dedication to the topic tho and the apparent research you’ve done. hyperfocus go brrrr

Matt Carriker (Demolition Ranch, Off The Ranch). stopped watching right around when they started their in-house merch business and stopped being even remotely relatable. The reason I watched in the.first place was because he always seemed so down-to-earth and actually made interesting content.
Major respect for him stepping off the platform a year or so ago. Seems to have some priorities straight I guess.

You could try AndBible from F-Droid or Accrescent. Open source and has a decent reader for common translations

I’ll second osprey packs and nalgenes even if its just the hiker in me. I bought an osprey parsec in like 2012 mostly fir school use. The only reason I replaced it last year is because it didn’t suit my needs for a backpack anymore. The only thing that ever broke was part of a buckle and even then the buckle still functioned. Beyond a little wear and tear, the bag is still 100% functional today. Easily one of the best things I’ve ever purchased.
And the only reason I’ve replaced a nalgene is because I dropped one in a river and wasn’t able to retrieve it.

this has beep written all over it

only if immich is publicly accessible (reverse proxy to domain, etc.). If it’s on a closed network like tailscale, albums aren’t accessible from outside the network afaik

I try to keep it low key. nobody has gone after soulseek yet but I don’t want to give them a reason to. after all, it’s only a file sharing platform, is it not?

found the clanker wanker

The year is 2026. The bears have taken over Japan. Negotiations have started.

check out soulseek. there’s a bunch of shared music there and a lot of it is FLAC
didn’t check vertical center and now I’m pissed
Ohh that makes sense. I messed up the conversion from in to ft. Thank you intelligent stranger
The math isn’t even right unless I’m missing something.
3.9" x 4" sheets = sq in per sheet
15.6" x 224 sheets = 3494.4 sq in per roll
3494.4 / 12 = 291.2 sq ft per roll
not sure where 776.5 even came from
OK I’m all here for discussion on how to setup backups, especially since I’ve just spent the last couple months figuring out a stable solution for the same problem, but I’m very distracted by the fact that you seem to be an LLM.
