It’s also convenient between japanese and English that “ga aru mon (mono) ka” is an established colloquial phrase. Both languages have the equivalent phrase “is that a thing/nah that’s not a thing”

When You Have annihilated the Impossible Whatever Remains, However Improbable, Must Be the Truth
There’s a difference between destroying something so it can never be true, and ruling it out through deductive reasoning why it can’t be true. There’s a greater opportunity to learn by dismissing something but leaving it intact.

+1 to your tamaniwa examples and adding “once in a while”

Oh thank you. In that case excuse the pun but
k0e desu
k0e san

I just realised you are the OP on this and the last post I commented on, and you’re posting questions and answering them yourself to provide examples. Derp on my part.
For anyone interested in why, Nobita (right) is already aware Doraemon (middle) is from the future and should understand the possibility of meeting his grandchild when time travel is available. Hence Doraemon calling him an idiot.

I wondered why I was having so much trouble with it, i thought it was a made up “just make it look japanese” thing. Yes its mirrored as k0e3 says.
As someone who has been asked for kanji tattoo advice for decades, pre Internet, its ok to draw inspiration from this picture for the design but then you check the text in a dictionary, draw up the tattoo pattern and these days check with knowledgeable people online on the final design. AND whatever else you need to do with the artist. I don’t have any tattoos or piercings, I can’t speak to that side.

I already have a one eyed black cat so a crow. I will name her Crogue Leader, and she will command her murder, Crogue Squadron.

Are you the evil twin to the Derwent Valley mayor

He was one of the worst human beings I’ve ever actually met IRL.

Thank you. It’s not something I get to use often but that little bit of understanding made a huge difference that day.
Yeah even with native English speakers I’ve had “yes” to “is the LED flashing green or red?”

He really wasn’t. I had to deal with him on and off for years. He wasn’t bright enough to be playing games with us or being manipulative. He simply was just rock fuck stupid.

Aw thank you. I’m starting to run out of stories but you never know what this job will bring next.

Outstanding. Excellent work that one guy. I hope you milked it for all it was worth.

She’s back?

My Japanese isn’t good enough and I’m not asking my mum to help.

That’s her actual name? That’s almost as bad as when I wanted to name a character Nakadashi Anaru.
Being living proof of that does not make it right, John
