I’ve been using it exclusively on my iPhone and iPad for about a year with zero issues and zero regrets. I’ve been looking forward to this release so I can also replace Firefox on my Linux pc

This used to happen to me occasionally and my way around it was getting a smart outlet and connecting it to my neighbors WiFi. If I was ever away and there was an issue I was still able to reboot my router thanks to that and it saved me several times.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Internet upload speeds on self-hosted Jellyfin/Plex Servers?English
5·4 months agoI started self hosting when I had only 100Mbps down/10Mbps up. For about 5 years years I told my friends and family that I didn’t have fast upload speeds so if several people were streaming at the same time there could be issues. Beggers cant be choosers, so they got what they got. That being said, I always tried to get smaller files so that less bandwidth was needed and that helped a lot
I lived alone so 100Mbps down/10Mbps up was plenty for me and I wasn’t going to upgrade to a faster plan. I also worked from home with those speeds without any issues and I would have continued with that internet plan if I still lived there. My new place includes 1.2Gb down/up so bandwidth isn’t the bottleneck for me any longer.
I use an iPhone simply because I refuse to use google services any longer, not because I’m delusional about apple caring about privacy.
I chose the bay ending also. I remember sitting there watching the final cutscene feeling utterly defeated. I didn’t beat the game, it beat me.
This is because of people stealing toilet paper out of public restrooms

I use a 42 inch LG C2 and I’m super happy with it. 4k, 120hz, OLED, HDR, and VRR. I got it on sale for $900 right when the C3’s were released.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How do you introduce the Fediverse to other people?
6·5 months agoI use email as an analogy. Most non-tech people are familiar with the idea of there being different email providers so I use that concept to describe the fediverse.

1·1 year agoI’m a reasonable man so I’ll allow it.
I got one of these once and I thought it was hilarious because I drove a tiny Toyota Corolla at the time and I was parked in my normal work spot. I think it was from a douche who was parked in front of me, ironically in a giant pickup truck. I worked next to a PetsMart so I’m thinking they weren’t able load something into the back of their truck since they were backed into the spot. I kept that card for years and finally got rid of it when I got a new car. Ahh memories 😆
