2·1 个月前I see, at least initial read/reviews seem to mention Zen removes Firefox telemetry and AI so that’s good. (I also have waterfox installed but didn’t really use it as main browser)
Now need to see if flatpak Firefox is supported by this script.

7·1 个月前Would anyone know if this would work for all Firefox derivatives as well? Zen browser in my case. Also would it work for flatpak installations as well?
Nothing really, I mostly want to experiment (but trying to do it without changing my workflow much), from suggestions both atomic and qubes options r looking interesting
Maybe just new DE. And I keep having intermittent issues with keyboard in fedora (can absolutely be hardware / firmware issue and I will see it in other distro as well
Sorry didn’t notice second part as soon as I saw ventoy/liveusb. What I’m looking for is very superficial (apart from atomic distro). I’m looking to see if I like using distro. I’ve exact same packages on my fedora (laptop) and pop os (desktop), I keep thinking I still like pop os (maybe just what I’m used to).
Oh interesting, I may need to look into atomic distro more. As of now I don’t understand what are features, pros/cons. I’ll read up but it’s definitely looking like way forward for me. If u have resources please link them.
Is it terminal only?
I’ll check this, when it’s VM I don’t generally spend required time to use it (my problem). I just get on primary os, do whatever I wanted and log off. This is the main reason I’m hesitant of VM.
Ventoy or liveusb is good for installing something but doesn’t seem good idea to actually run long term.
I actually run proxmox on my homelab. What does unraid bring over pve? I didn’t think of running proxmox on desktop
Been using beta since it came out. Almost until beta 7, needed to use KDE or some games would go black screen. But no issues at all since around November with cosmic as well. I have played gw2, marvel rivals, Helldivers 2 through steam.
I was overthinking it bit too much. I simply have to enable sharing

1·3 个月前I’m not mounting home directory itself but my samba mount point directory was inside home directory. For e.g.
/home/user/share1
Is there an explanation somewhere about how to do this? I was thinking I needed
uPnP serveron HTPC but after reading some more realized that’s probably not the thing. Then I found VLC should be able to do it (https://www.baeldung.com/linux/upnp-dlna-clients)we just select Universal Plug’n’Play from theLocal Network category on the left.
but after that it doesn’t just show up under device where I can cast
I think
gmediarendereris what I’m looking for
