No, this is going on today and will in the future. But leaks from the scene will never stop. Because many are simultaneously in p2p.

I think camera icon there at the top is to represent the video not camrips, because they specificly say DVDs under the supliers. Scene has not done many camrips in fact looking at predb here https://predb.me/?search=camrip only 2 shown 2003/2011. At the top is SCENE at the bottom is P2P.
Officially scene does not like P2P, unofficially however many scene members are themselfs from P2P and upload to P2P. Especially those at the top of the scene like top sites ops. But most leaks from the scene are done from couriers those who fxp releases from server to server.
Also for those who don’t know, demo scene to the scene members is like defcon to hackers. This is the time they can all be in public. Most if not all demo scene people are some way connected to the scene or even run there own groups. There are many examples of such groups. Just look at some scene notices.
Yeah, you’ll be suprised on how many people don’t know about this. Let’s hope this information gets more attention. And you haven’t used irc for 20 years check out some xdcc channels they are very active.
Especially when there are thousands of people using same vpn and shared ip. Plausible deniability sky rockets 1,000%+ This is why it is a good idea to use well established vpn with many users than hosting your own vpn on own server.

IRC/XDCC/FTP was never old, it was always relavent to those who always used it. This options is as good and/or better than torrents/usenet. But whatever you choose chances are you will find what you are looking for.
There are actually many workprints on archive site. Just search for “workprint” and select “movies” as media type. You’ll be suprised.

Yeah, its very easy to script something for automation.

I’m saying that its better to use VPN than nothing at all, and that its safer to use VPN from another country. But no of course no one is safe 100% all the time. But this is one of the best ways anyone can protect themselfs. And no US don’t have juristictions in all countries especially outside those organizations mantioned. MITM attacks or reserve engineering possible, but highly unlikely and MITM attack against AES-256 won’t do much at all. So total anonymity is very hard to achive but possible and many do it on daily basis.
Yes it is still widely used and has most of the newest stuff that torrents have. And if you use irc and used to it its very easy to automate your daily downloads.
A VPN provider outside of my country doesn’t give a crap
It takes so much more resources to get your data outside your country. And if your country is a part of 5-9-14 eyes, you should not be using your countries vpn at all.
You should consider seeding RARBG reuploaded torrents on TorrentGalaxy. Especially from users like “indexFroggy”. After RARBG shutdown TGx stepped up there game preserving RARBG releases. There are now over 5,000 archives at TGx and growing.
If you use US VPN you already doing it wrong. You should never use US for anything related to piracy that rule #1.
VPN is good as long as you use it correctly. I’ve seen people use vpn and still loging into there email or bank or do shopping while on same vpn that they use for piracy. Number one rule when using vpn is to never mix your real life accounts with the onces you use with vpn.
When there are thousands of bots, packs and users I think its widely used ;)
