3·3 years agoI just did the math and if I spent the next 18 years at my current job with my current salary I’d earn about 500.000 moneys. Well, shit.
The Incredibles (2004). There’s probably a lot of nostalgia involved in my answer but early Pixar movies are my jam, never get tired of watching them.
I wish I could watch it again for the first time. Easily one of my favorite comedy movies ever, alongside Airplane! and The Emperor’s New Groove.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•The Folding of Japanese Swords: Turning "Crap Materials" into Masterpieces
3·3 years agoThat’s not my point. Japan is a rich country nowadays but it does not have a lot of natural resources ancient people could use, which is what I’m talking about. As the theory goes, a resource-less country should give rise to an expansionist, aggressive society in search of said resources whereas countries like India and China, with plenty of water, fertile land and valuable minerals should give rise to more laidback societies, which is the opposite of what you’re claiming.

91·3 years agoIndia and China are rich as hell though, they have a ton of resources. Shouldn’t they have more laidback populations then?
