They already have magsafe chargers. TBH that would be the best move for Apple. The downside would be no more direct cable data backups. That makes me think no choice but USBC for this next phone.

Apple@lemmy.world•iCloud Mail vs Google Mail - what are your opinions?English
21·3 years agoI’ve almost finished transition to iCloud. No issues at all. I value my privacy more and more and with news google is going to train their LLMs on your content it was a no brainer for me.

3·3 years agoThanks. I’ve just been riding past the new segment of trinity trail but I can’t tell when it’ll open (out of town but I’m dying to be able to ride from white rock down to the trinity forest).

2·3 years agoI wish they were more transparent about project statuses. Very hard to get ideas of when things open.

Apple@lemmy.world•Advice for troubleshooting frequent random iPhone resprings?English
1·3 years agoYes I believe it’s hardware. You wouldn’t see consistent issues like this ubiquitously. I could honestly be the RAM/memory as well because on my old Mac I use to get constant beach balls and it turned out HDD and 1 ram stick had issues.

1·3 years agoI feel the most likely thing would be a bad battery. But if it’s not the battery then it gets expensive because intermittent issues are always the hardest to debug in hardware.
I prefer using the default mail app.
+1 for reeder

I prefer a consistent design system because it makes continued development much easier.
