For anyone from german courts reading this, if you pass that stupid ruling, you might be responsible for all hacked devices that got hacked over ads and/or over shady adblockers. People will not go after the ad networks, people will go after you personally. Because the whole DMCA usage is an overreach to begin with.

I would say this website is very suspicious. If you download anything, try to find the same game from different sources and do a binary comparison if the game binary code is the same.

Website is totally fine as a page listing native games, but you should avoid downloading binaries from unknown sources.

World of Goo 2 Is not a “free” game. Suggesting to download the game from torrenta is very sus. At least it is a pirated copy, unless this game have some hidden git repo where you can compile the game for free for yourself and it it used. At worse it is a infected copy with some virus/backdor/data stealer.

Correct, It is not a price issue, for me (Linux user) I can pay for legal site and watch in shitty quality, or pay for “alternative” distributors which not only have better quality but also have more content.

And I pay for multiple more-or-less shady services, so in turn I pay more than some of my friends that use only one service and periodically switch to another.

I want a service that “just work”, not shitty ones that I need to look for the content I want to watch on multiple services and even then get idiotic region locked or ass quality.

Na pewno warto by otworzyć temat na lemmy o uniwersalny sposób na tagowanie rzeczy wygenerowanych przez AI tak samo jak mamy NSFW. Bo ułatwi to odfiltowanie AI.

Np nie toleruje wiadomości z wygenerowana grafika AI w szczególności która dla nie wtajemniczonych nie wygląda jak AI a tworzy narracje.
