Could you describe it? Assuming you have experience with it. I love learning about that kind of stuff

2·28 days agoIf having to call a few vets offices to see if there is an opening for your dog is ‘traumatic’ for you, you need serious help
I’m curious where that comes from, because I did mention being unable to find a vet where I’m moving, but you may have made up the traumatic part in your head? It would explain a lot of things about interactions you’ve had here. Unless you’re referencing something else?

5·28 days agoI rarely pull out the oven, fridge, dishwasher, dryer and washer to clean under or behind them, how often would you do it?
I love to go to the doctor but I only get to see them when my health issues get me hospitalized. Last time it was over a hundred gallstones and pancreatitis, doctors told me it was stomach acid until I turned visibly yellow.
And I’m moving because my partner finally found a near minimum wage job in his industry after years of research.
Yeah being an adult kinda sucks.

8·28 days agoI’m about to move and it’s such shit it’s making me depressed. I can’t find anyone to rent my current place so I might be stuck paying for two places. Packing everything takes so much time. Cleaning up whatever shows behind the furniture for whoever comes next, cleaning up the place we’re moving to, disassembling and reassembling some of the larger furniture. Losing whatever few friends I managed to make in a city to go somewhere where I know nobody. Losing access to all the cool places I knew about to go somewhere that seemingly has none of them. Dealing with changing the address on every place that might send me mail, knowing I won’t get everything and I’ll have to deal with trying to find lost mail after. Trying to find a new vet for my senior dog who needs monthly injections when none of the vets take new clients. Moving is shit.
I wouldn’t be able to handle it, I’d feel jealous every time ny partners do something without me.

Brand New Sentence@lemmy.today•135⁰c for two hours and seared in the microwaveEnglish
3·1 month agoYep, I’m thinking either the person misunderstood the instructions and somehow got their water at 135 for that duration (which seems unlikely considering it would have boiled away) or they wrote the wrong unit on the post.

I should try that, it sounds healthier

There’s income related to making and sharing digital media. It’s not as simple as a simple monetary transaction, but there’s income in social media presence and exposure which can be converted into monetary income. In any case, by removing the signature, the person is intentionally cutting that income stream from the artist.
It’s more difficult to argue that it’s stealing, since even though the person removing attribution from an artist is taking something from the artist, they’re not necessarily gaining it for themselves.

5·2 months agoI looked at the code and noticed it’ll red/yellow flag you depending on how much personal info you made public on your github account, 0 being red flag and >3 yellow flag.
It’s not the only factor but it tells me it’s not worth much as a tool, not everyone likes to make their info public while spammers can easily fake it.

Going indie from scratch means going no income for years for a project that may never succeed, not everyone can afford the risk. Existing indie studio have very limited hiring capacity compared to the amount of people getting laid off from big companies.
