Thanks. It shoots a dream. Rang steel at 100 yards with no adjustments. Soft shooting too. Could definitely use a balaclava though.

1·3 years agoA 2230 from Ali Express is very affordable. I’d definitely recommend that over any modifications.
Shaggy mane are a choice edible, but they’ll dissolve into black goo in a matter of hours after being picked.

5·3 years agoTHANK YOU for actually doing this by weight instead of by volume. It makes it so much easier to scale. I can’t stand when fermentation books use volumetric measurements for the brine. It makes no sense.

4·3 years agoI’ve made mushroom stroganoff before. It’s not the same as beef, but still very tasty. Just bump up the amount of mushrooms you use and throw in some meatier varieties like shiitake, oyster, chicken of the woods, lions mane, etc.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What creative medium do you find most inspiring for expressing yourself?English
1·3 years agoCooking. It gives me a chance to be creative, plus I need to do it multiple times a day. Also, you get to share the fruits of your labor with friends/ family. Definitely helps that I don’t have any friends who are picky eaters.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's the best vacuum cleaner in your opinion?English
11·3 years agoSebo also makes a great “premium” vacuum, but like the Miele, it also uses bags. I feel like the best vacuums tend to use bags.
Definitely some elbow grease.
The top and water reservoir look alright. I would buy a new gasket and screen. After that, it just looks like it needs a good cleaning, and possibly descaling.

4·3 years agoNew deck, albeit on the older side. The physical buttons just stopped working one day. By that I mean the d pad and A B X Y buttons would just randomly be unresponsive.

9·3 years agoI have an LG and it functions just fine without being connected to Wi-Fi. You can also monitor and block any attempts to phone home at the DNS level with something like pihole.

Had no idea. Good to know. Now it only I could find some in my area.
