Nah, it’s a Hetzner CX23 with 20 TB of included traffic, which I will never exceed. And the setup is actually recommended because you don’t expose your actual server but only the VPS. I watched a video from the Headscale devs a few years ago where the recommended this type of setup.

EDIT: btop is reporting 6.72 TB down and 6.43 TB up in the past 329 days of uptime.

You’re right, the VPS only serves the purpose of a static public IPv4 which I can use with a domain.

There is really nothing wrong with Docker on a VPS. It’s not a VM there is no overhead.
I also run a VPS which is connected to my Honelab using Tailscale. I run Nginx Proxy Manager using Docker on the VPS and it’s proxy’ing all incoming connections to my Honelab.

Apartheid in South Africa meant no civil rights for black people, no political representation, but separated public spaces. Arabs in Israel have the same civil right as all Israelis, the can vote and they have several parties in the parliament. No public places are ethnically separated.

Israel is not an Apartheid, that’s an (empirical) fact.

It doesn’t really matter unless you install a distro that’s not using Plasma or Gnome. Just pick one of the popular distros, and you’re good to go. CachyOS, EndeavourOS, Bazzite, Garuda, you name it.

Arabs in Israel are equal by law. The have representatives in the parliament. I’m not trying to deny that Israel is heavily racist in politics and societal, but so is every other country and every other democracy and it doesn’t make Israel not a democracy. Even though it’s democracy is under attack by right wing Likud, but that’s also true for literally every European country.

Why should Israel be an Apartheid if it is a Democracy? That doesn’t make sense.

And the Holocaust comparison is not one of quantity, but of quality. Building an: industrial complex to kill millions if Jews is historically unprecedented.
