Kona is on the big island, I’m not sure what you mean? It would surprise me if the big island caught on fire (not caused by lava) but it did not change so much in 20 years that wildfires happen on the east side of the big island. I never said the climate has never changed, I said it did not change as much as he implied. Areas with a lot of rainfall are not catching on fire. I checked your images and they confirm what I’ve been saying about the diversity of the islands. I think it’s wrong to compare them that way, climate change is happening but not like that.

The islands have different humidities. Oahu is much more dry than the big island and hardly rains, Maui has a dry side which is the side on fire now. It also rains more on the east side of the big island which is where you most likely visited. Hawaii has not changed as much as you imply.

That’s a problem with jerboa though, there isn’t a good way to link anything for jerboa. I could be wrong but I’ve tried different ways and all of them don’t work (they either crash, open in a new tab you aren’t logged into, or don’t work at all).

Well you can’t interact with the beehaw server if you are from a blocked instance, I’m from lemmy.world so I guess I’m boycotting them but not by choice. I would not have cared at all but they my instance got blocked so I had to unsub from all beehaw communities since it’s useless to be subbed from a blocked instance. I’m not going to make another account just for beehaw. Beehaw has blocked over 200 instances, so it’s nothing new for them. Beehaw will not federated again unless lemmy devs meet their demands. Idk. I think the whole thing is dumb, if you go on beehaw you can read their POV. You have to be nice when interacting with beehaw or else you get banned. Only 4 admins moderate all of beehaw. Enough trolls go on beehaw and your instance gets blocked because that’s the only thing the admins there know how to deal with it. I’m not aware of a boycott, but wouldn’t be surprised if people are upset.

Are you on mobile? I found I couldn’t get it to go through on my phone (browser or jerboa) but I did get it through on my desktop. Had to be patient but took less than 15 min I think.

I only want to use third party apps to browse reddit, infinity is awesome. Also I read that reddit is trying to force people to use their app by blocking them from accessing reddit on their mobile browser. Fuck 'em.

Last I read there was an AITA about a guy trying to make his girlfriend cook in the kitchen with the women of his family. OP said in the comments that his girlfriend made him go to a family hunting trip, people were foaming at the mouth saying he’s making the hunting trip up to make him look better. Lmao who cares, it’s a story.
