I like Firefox, but I loathe AI as anything else but a choice, and it should be an ethical trained LLM.

So, what is most important to you? Getting the profile manager with possible bugs, or waiting for it? Do you support Mozilla buy donation?

I don’t get that from the title at all. It’s a new version, that’s why it says “Here’s what’s new!”
If you want people to use your OS, then do the proper work…
As already mentioned. It’s really handy for keeping accounts separate. It’s also very handy when it comes to keep tracking separated. Keeping your google sites in one container, your FB in another, your bank in another an so forth…
I can’t say I disagree on that either… Sadly enough.
Totally agree with you. Seems like there’s someone boothurt, who doesn’t like Mozilla. Even if people kept posting articles like this, about something I don’t really care for or like, like MS or Apple, or Google, I would become tired of them…
This is all: “I don’t agree with their choices, and I know better”… sigh

What a stupid try to make it sound interesting. “There’s a catch”… No, there is no catch. You have a choice when installing to make your browser the default browser - just like any other browser asks you. sigh You get so tired of people writing like this…
But good for Firefox… It deserves more visibility.
I do trust them… Even though there’s some trying to spread doubt and mistrust in here. I wonder if it is Chrome fanboys, that just doesn’t like Mozilla?

Any decent software developer would like to see how their software is used, to make it even better. I guess your reason here is, that since they want to make their software better, you should not use it!? It doesn’t make sense, unless you are deeply paranoid.

Someone is busy trying to make people uneasy about Mozilla Thunderbird and Firefox.
This smells like a smear campaign, and sadly enough, the feddiverse is buying into it - big time!
I don’t mind giving Mozilla some telemetry, because I actually have no reason to believe, that they are not anonymizing it, and that they use it to do anything else than make their product better for us. Can anyone show anything else? No, they can’t…
This is probably paid propaganda, from someone who wants you to leave Mozilla - the prime organisation that fights for internet users rights and privacy.
Well, Mozilla makes contact to pages because it checks for your calendar, your mail, updates to your addons, updates to the browser/mail client, sends anonymous telemetry, that helps them make the software better, and doesn’t compromise you in any way. If you have addons installed, they might contact different sites to update blocking lists, change settings to bypass some youtube setting and so forth.
Get informed, and not by haters here, don’t panic!

Still using it, still enjoying it, not so flimsy and bothurt as many users are…

Still using Firefox, and still enjoying it… Why? Because I’m capable of thinking and rationalizing. Try it!

😅 When you are plucking strawberries, you bend over. Then the highest part of your body is your behind. 😜

This sounds like a piece written by someone hurt in the place that is highest, when plucking strawberries.
What a whining “opinion”, and opening up for others to whine too…
You know what? Not a single one, can find a browser that does everything you want, the way you want it done, and only that. _Now, grow up, and then start influencing the best browser, who has fought for decades for users rights and privacy. The reason they have to compromise a bit, is because users just don’t care - in general.

Is this post more about trying to discredit/bash Mozilla/Firefox, than it is about explaining what’s happening and why? It seems that way.
I’m not worried at all, about this. Firefox is still Open Source. You can be OS, and still collect some data.
Det fungere rigtig godt. :-)

Go to preferences, general settings, and scroll down…
You are funny. But I guess you don’t donate to them, and yet you are complaining (some would say whining) about your free software, doesn’t work for free, for you…
Mozilla didn’t give our data to Google. That’s all on you. If you use google, then you give them your data.
Try a little harder to control your rage, because it’s making you blind, and writing stupid things.
