2·1 year agoif you only watch the main segment that gets posted to YouTube, that’s definitely how it goes. The full show does a good job of sandwiching it between light-hearted, palatable goofs.

4·1 year agoPrince of Persia: the Lost Crown was probably the best Metroidvania I’ve ever played. A lot of critics agree.
Ubisoft dismantled their team after they didn’t meet sales expectations.
The game itself was amazing and made its way onto a lot of Game of the Year lists. If it underperformed, it was either a failure of their marketing department, or a failure to set realistic sales goals.
It’s just highly dependent on who is on the panel that night. The Weird Al, Drew Carey, and Thomas Lennon episode was hilarious.
Alan Yates is there too?! He’s the mastermind behind the Lighthouses used for VR. Gonna be some promising tech from that company.

This is the developer’s website. It’s not an SNES ROM and it’s perfectly legal to download. I believe they made it in RPGMaker.

632·2 years agoHonestly, Lemmy is the wrong one here. Red/orange for up and blue for down follows the nomenclature for raising and lowering temperature. I’m guessing they changed it to just be different from Reddit.

LJ! So happy to have Sync back. I’ll happily pay for ad-free. It feels silky smooth so far. I don’t see any bug reporting available in the app; should we just do it here? If so, I’ve noticed that “sort by top” in the comments sometimes will chop off the first comment.

232·3 years agoI wouldn’t say its FOMO, I think most people just had higher hopes for it as a direct Twitter replacement instead of the cesspool of reposters, uninteresting celebs, and wylin’ out social media managers that it serves up in its feed. I don’t mind Meta, I don’t mind that they want to eventually federate, I just wish the feed wasn’t pure trash.

He gave the children of HIV positive fathers, conceived via in vitro fertilization, resistance to HIV. I don’t think it’s as bad as everyone suspects. I’m not sure children conceived the normal way would have survived.
