  • Harry potter is directly responsible for being who i am today. In a family that taught the kind of hate that JK now represents, harry potter was a wonderful escape from it and helped teach me acceptance and comradery. That noone should be judged or excluded no matter who they are. And that you should always fight nazis, whether theyre magical or not.

It deeply hurts to see the author go the exact opposite way now. It really is heartbreaking. But it doesnt taint my experience with her work.

I wont contribute money to her ever again, but i still have my books and movies and such. Because its such a hugely important part of my life.

Also, as i always say, JK is a god damn billionaire(?) And it would have cost her exactly 0$ to keep her fucking mouth shut

  • Welcome! To save you all from me typing a novel like i usually do, i have answered a question like this in the past. Please feel free to run through my comments, theres quite a bit of advice in there (im trying to compile as much as i can into one source)

But the TLDR is start small! Makeup, nails, even taking care of your skin and hair can do wonders for your self image!

Biggest piece of advice i can give is to just not rush things. Take your time exploring yourself and figuring out your goals. But rushing things lead to giant feelings of anxiety, dysphoria, or other feelings that come from not being comfortable.

Welcome again, i hope you stay awhile! And no matter what happens with your journey we love you and support you ❤️❤️

  • Proud of you and your journey girly! Its been a pleasure to see your pictures, each one a little more joyful than the last. Seeing you live your life happily and be able to participate in the outside world is such an inspiration to the rest of us. Seriously, never underestimate your position here. People rave about you, the entire community loves you or at least knows about you. I think thats really special. The ability to help guide others and make them feel welcome and safe at the same time is a great power, and you wield it so well.

I love you girl (platonically lol) and even if you stopped posting tomorrow, i would never forget you. Youve made such a huge impact in this community, in my life and many others, that it would be impossible to forget you. Ill remember forever, and i count myself lucky to be able to have such a ray of sunshine permanently stuck in my mind palace. And when im 80, because trans people can be old now, ill think of you, and remark how amazing it is to have witnessed this community and your journey ❤️❤️❤️

No apology this time, im dumping out my purse on you, deal with it 😂
