I don’t understand what it’s communicating. Is he happy? Did he give up on technology, or society altogether?
If they just showed the password on the login page, this would happen 100% less often to me.

Canada@lemmy.ca•A Toronto landlord is banning electric vehicles on its property. Tenants' advocates say that's 'unreasonable'
32·2 years agoNo need to swear, friend. If that city switched to walking and shared transport, most of those roads could be converted into housing or parkland instead of concrete and parking.

313·2 years agoSwitching from one type of car to another isn’t a green transition. Car production still creates enormous co2 emissions, paving everything for cars makes heat islands, tires produce piles of particulate pollution, and so on. Fixing the car pollution problem means moving to other forms of transportation, not just slightly-less-bad automobiles.

53·2 years agoFacebook and Google have already destroyed the internet, by making hundreds of millions of people think they are the internet.
Which is very much a shame. There seems to be some traffic on a couple of the provincial subs on Lemmy.ca though.

Canada@lemmy.ca•Early signs suggest fall COVID-19 wave starting in Canada — before updated boosters are available
143·3 years agoNo it doesn’t. When others see people wearing a mask now, they think your either paranoid, virtue signalling, or have an health condition and therefore hava a higher threat model.
Really? At this point when see someone wearing a mask I assume they have a cold/flu/covid and they’re being prosocial…

81·3 years agoSure, we just need to convince the pentagon that the fires are some sort of communist strategy to destabilise our economy. Or maybe that the fires are burning precious oil that should be liberated.

Canada@lemmy.ca•What would you prioritise on a cross-Canada roadtrip with an eight year old?
2·3 years agoThanks for this, I’ll see what I can do about the timeline. Thankfully my daughter travels really well, and yeah, we have games, an dramatised audio version of the chronicles of narnia, a Switch and phones with movies. It’ll definitely be a stretch but I think she’ll be ok. :)

2·3 years agoThanks! I didn’t realise you couldn’t drive up to lake Louise or Moirane lake any more… It’s been decades since I’ve been there and was hoping to make the stop. Thanks!
