If he’s not a Russian agent, I don’t see how an actual one could do a better job destabilizing the US and NATO than he is.

Are they afraid their fake award is going to lose credibility because they gave it to the person they made it up for and he doesn’t deserve it?

For sure, as a New Yorker, I’ve known longer than that, but it still amazes me that there are people who don’t know yet.

Him pushing for and then accepting someone else’s peace prize award says everything anyone needs to know about him: he’s the biggest asshole in the world and has no shame.

By “playbook” do they mean “murdering someone in the street to get people to revolt?”

No surprise here, all the proud boys probably became ICE agents

Oh, he’s going to do the thing he’s been planning on doing anyway? Real scary.

I’m willing to allow it in this case.

Over 50 but way fewer than 212 is disgusting.
That is one small pile of shit.

I’ve got no patience now.

They’re just about whatever he says at the moment and will do mental gymnastics to justify it.
I can’t blame your dad, but it would take someone having a lot of skill and knowledge that the average person doesn’t have to get rid of him; there were two attempts in 2024, so his security is beefed up and likely not going to make the same mistakes again. Not to mention the fact that it would make him a martyr with his rabid base like it did with Charlie Kirk. On top of that, there would be jd Vance taking over, which is better bc he doesn’t have the backing that Trump has, but he’s still an asshole too and they have a propaganda machine behind them that’s extremely effective at riling up the base.
The issues here are 100% systemic and unfortunately require either congress to get their shit together or tearing the whole system down, which would require a lot of people banding together. Hopefully democracy stays intact for the midterms and we’re able to change some things as a result. At least if it doesn’t, it should be the catalyst for approaching things nondemocratically on a mass scale.
Until then, it’s worth mentioning that everyone can boycott American products and push for their governments to enact sanctions. If the economy tanks under Trump, it’s probably a lot easier to get his base to turn on him.

Maybe not officially, but as of December 19th, that’s what the sign on the building says.

It’d be nice if that happened, but I’ve lost hope for seeing the day that he’s finally held accountable for something.

Maybe the “memorial” part of the name is for the performing arts?

At least use the full name so everyone realizes how stupid it is to have a memorial center for someone who isn’t dead yet: “Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts.”

Ah look at that. I’ll be damned.
