If you open a terminal, cd <location> and run ls -la, what do you get? Who’s the owner and what are the permissions of the subdirectories?
Are there any errors in the Jellyfin interface? Have you checked the logs?
777 permissions are a bit overkill, I think 755 should be enough, since you don’t need to “execute” mkv files.

Looking for alternatives, I tried out Technitium. Extremely easy to set up, rock solid, running steady for about 6 months (with frequent updates), and they recently introduced built in high-availability.

I don’t really measure things precisely while I’m cooking… By spoons I mean soup-spoons (tablespoons). I’m a metric guy :)
For the spice mix, it’s total. In my variant, I added one tablespoon of garam masala, one of cumin, half of ground coriander, half of turmeric, about a teaspoon of paprika, indian chilli, fenugreek. I mixed this separately in a bowl, and ended up using all of it. It might be too much for some, though, so you can only add half of it, adjust later if needed.

I have a similar setup, with a public domain hosted by cloudflare. Internally, I use caddy with the DNS feature pointing to the cloudflare using their API and letsencrypt certs.

So I did finish the series, and I was, overall, impressed. The second book started slow, too much politics for my taste. The third one I think it was the best of all three. Maybe not the best ever individual books, but probably the best series I have ever read.
So, obviously, as a new Sanderson fan, I started Way of Kings :)
