I’m no big fan of the idiots in my state that enabled Trump, but Pennsylvania (even accounting for Fetterman, the traitorous fuck) is nowhere near the shithole Ohio is.

Contrary to what many people may believe, while I’m sure the government has an idea of who has guns and who doesn’t, I doubt that idea accurately reflects reality. There are lots of ways in the US to get or make a gun that don’t involve anything beyond cash changing hands.

It’s only a matter of time.

I’ve found having a cotton t-shirt as a base to actually help when wearing layers, as the cotton wicks away any sweat from my skin and keeps me feeling generally drier and therefor warmer (and I don’t sweat enough to completely soak the shirt, YMMV if you sweat a lot). Also helps if you find wool or other outer layers itchy. You’re right to not wear additional layers of cotton fabric, though.

As a Pennsylvanian, I am also ecstatic that we get to join Canada and Ohio doesn’t. God please yes put a solid border between us and Ohio.

to expand on what I’m saying: people should make an effort to push for solidarity with Minnesota and not work or go out on the 23rd no matter where they live. Renee Good could’ve been your mother, your sister, your daughter. while a country-wide general strike is an admittedly lofty idea to aspire to, I don’t think there’s anyone who’s seen pictures of the interior of that car and not thought of someone they know and love in the drivers seat. I’m like 50% certain (as someone who has not partaken in the substances which I’m about to talk out my ass regarding) that OOP must’ve simply meant something less… kosher, shall we say – PCP? the tl;dr I got from this: he’s extra fucked in the long term (aka: anything beyond midterms and especially after january 19th 2028, not that I think he’ll even live that long) but he can still screw us all very hard in the short term (anything from now til midterms), even if we completely dispense with the possibility of martial law and the attempted meddling in/cancellation of elections around midterms or in 2028 (which is not a bet I’d make).
