I would also like to know. I’ve been eyeing the XReal glasses, but they’re a bit expansive, and I don’t have anywhere in my country to try them out. If they could work for my job for ~8 hours of work, I would definitely buy them
Absolutely! I think it’s great to generate some activity here either way. And you never know when someone will respond.

Buy European@feddit.uk•(Edited after commenters feedback) - any European belt brands to recommend?
11·10 months ago”50,000 men have made the switch” what does that even mean? Are they now exclusively using this belt? Only buying belts made from this brand? Are they measuring monthly active users? It’s not a cellphone carrier, you’re allowed to have multiple belts.
I think the size of the Lemmy climbing community is still too small for you to find any Southern Ontarian trad climbers (I would be happy to be proved wrong). I think your best bet is to find some local trad climbers at the gym and get some tips from them.
I’m not that into trad climbing myself, and not in limestone, so unfortunately can’t give you any good recs.
Wow! That sounds intense, I don’t think I’ve ever meditated for longer than 30 minutes. Do you always meditate till your timer go off, or do you use it as a kind of maximum timer?
I’ve lived in both Copenhagen and Norway.
Copenhagen: decent, but super chalky so feels like you’re still thirsty after drinking.
Norway: best I’ve ever had (bottled or otherwise). Though I’m Norwegian so I might be biased
I’ve been trying to use both BookWyrm and Storygraph. I prefer Storygraphs UI and they have a larger library of books (it seems). However I would like to mainly use BookWyrm to help with the network effect, as well as to contribute with adding books
Novo Nordisk is based in Denmark. 40% of their sales are from the US, so I guess they could pivot to European sales.
Definitely do! Northern Norway has been great the last 2 summers, although almost too warm for climbing.
If I remember correctly, this was Turistklasse (6b) at the Tunga sector in Ersfjorden Would definitely recommend!

1·11 months agoMakes sense. I guess a jam would be a good place to find bandmates as well? We have a few jams in my town, but they’re very audience heavy. I feel a bit intimidated to go and play in front of so many people.

34·2 years agoHi! I just wanted to let you know that the project you linked to has been abandoned. I tried contributing a while back but didn’t get anything merged. Therefore I started a fork which is a bit more active, and has some improvements. I’ll admit that I haven’t been super active lately, but if anyone wants to contribute, PRs are very welcome :)

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's the "Joe Shmoe" of different cultures? Or the "John/Jane Smith"?
16·2 years agoIn Norway we have “Ola Nordmann” and “Kari Nordmann”. Ola and Kari are pretty common and generic names. Nordmann literally means Norwegian, but can also be used as a last name.
