  • Walt is in early access and hasn’t completed an audit yet and curve along with all the other middleman fintech companies has a storied history of data breaches and godawful customer service regarding chargebacks and fraud that skirts bank regulation.

I’m not gonna fight you about this. If you wanna post a tankie wall of links style reply to convince everyone that the best of the fintech middlemen and the early access no employee company are on the up and up you should do it.

I hope they work well for you and you encounter no negative consequences.

  • If you really want to get right with it, use cash in person.

In person is the only reason to have nfc anyway so cash sidesteps all the data concerns and you don’t have to choose between trusting a particular big corporation, yoloing it with Jim’s third party processing app or raw doggin’ the possibly a skimmer payment terminal.

People will say “well, what if they track the serial numbers of the bills dispensed at atms or deposited by a store?” but that just means they don’t understand how retail works and shouldnt be listened to.

  • I’m not sure you’re picking up what I’m putting down.

You cannot do what you’re trying to do. I don’t know why. Other people can. I can. You can’t. There could be a lot of reasons for that and you’re failing to troubleshoot the problem. None of that is an indictment of you.

Try to do something else: open a container tab (I am a firefox user, so I use Firefox’s container tabs), log into google and watch your videos. Open up a different container tab (again, I am a Firefox user so I have to make a different container to use) and see if the recommendations follow you there.

  • I asked if you were actually clearing your cache in the other thread.

In this one I’ll try something different: have you considered logging in?

You are, based on two threads full of replies from you, incapable of avoiding “google” “tracking”.

It could be that you’re running android, that your google access point is sending telemetry or that you simply don’t have enough understanding of how the web works to effectively avoid being tracked no matter what operating system or software package is in use. That last part isn’t meant as an insult, web browsers are basically their own os and extremely complex.

Have you considered using a sandbox setup like Firefox’s container tabs and logging into google on a particular container?

That avoids the need for you to avoid tracking by saying to google “I’m me!” While also presenting them an empty browser cache and cookie sandbox to play in.

  • Tbh you should just get a mac.

You can have privacy on them with a little less effort than on windows and they’re already decently secure. They can play cyberpunk and you already have the linux (bsd) toolkit. They’re already the kind of computer you like with the good trackpad etc.

I would drop your “be European” requirement.

  • I don’t care about whatever argument you’re having. It’s extremely inaccurate to claim Americas entry into ww2 was diplomatically motivated when Japan was taking by military force islands that had been part of an extractive zone contested by them and America. It’s literally two imperial powers low key fighting over their periphery then one goes PISS NUKE INCOMING.

Again, I do not care about whatever argument you’re having. If anything I want you to be able to integrate more information into your understanding of imperialism. It’s really hard for us as westerners to do that when so much of the groundwork of our historical understanding is jingoism and great man and it’s good you’re interrogating your own ideas.

Also you should probably start with the Spanish American war as your American point of entry into imperialism (you say here “global interventionism” but idk wth that means.)

  • Hey I don’t have time to do a whole infodump style reply but off the dome Washington profited immensely from the revolutionary war because he was a land speculator and the us needed to get into ww2 so it could stop the empire of japan from taking control of all the island territories it chased Spain off of.

I wouldn’t personally call the first example imperialism because you gotta make a distinction between Byzantine and American somehow and the one from imperialism the highest stage of capitalism seems appropriate and answers a lot of questions but the second one is literally imperialism by any definition you wanna call it.

Also even if you fully reject Lenin’s work you gotta grapple with the historical facts that the eastern states didn’t really create a program of mass import of raw materials from the western expansion states and complete control over the western states government to the detriment of the people who lived in them to the extent that the nation they represented did to the Philippines for example. The distinction between imperialism and colonialism for the modern age helps with that and fits many other modern examples, most notably israel. Israel isnt doing imperialism to Palestinians, they are doing colonialism.

Regarding Americas western expansion I am compressing a million pages of history and some really powerful counterexamples into a did they didn’t they statement here and I know that.

Like I said I don’t have time to do the other two without referring to a bunch of books to get my claims perfectly exactly irrefutably correct on the (no offense intended) Redditor instance.

  • Yeah whenever blm does a roundup they shuffle the animals off to privately run kill pens that warehouse them in substandard conditions and market them to horse girls on social media.

It’s illegal to kill horses for meat in America so you gotta put em on a train to Canada where they mostly become dogfood.

But Americans don’t want them to be killed directly and instead ship the carcasses, so they hold the horses so someone can “adopt” them.

I don’t know why I used quotes there, it’s animal adoption just like a dog or cat except for the wild differences.

While the animals are held in government subsidized private kill pens they are subject to conditions that pretty much every horse owner hates.

Of course the solution is much bigger roundups with direct kills but the horse people hate that idea.
