World News@lemmy.world•Poland Considers Ban on Chinese-Made Cars Entering Its Military BasesEnglish
113·1 day agoSure, but China poses an immediate security threat for now. As the article says, Russia is responsible for a series of hybrid attacks such as arsons in Poland (and its allies around the globe), and as China is a decisive enabler of Russia’s war against Ukraine it’s not far-fetched that Beijing will also support Russia in its hybrid war against Europe and the rest of the Western world.

Iran seizes properties and businesses in crackdown after unrest - (Unpaywalled link)

Could you please elaborate what the exact problem is? I never heard about such problem, but I am not sure whether I understand what the issue is here.

21·6 days agoThat you did that comment on multiple threads begs some questions.
Yeah? Which ones?
You may have missed that OP cross-posted that, as much as you misinterpret my comment while ignoring some points. Intentionally?

World News@lemmy.world•Israel sees spike in PTSD and suicide among troops as war persistsEnglish
312·6 days agoEvery time someone calls out Israel we get people discounting it because they are not perfect, and project motives.
That doesn’t happen ‘every time’ nor is it about discounting Israel’s war crimes or what you call a ‘lack of purity.’ Just read OP’s post history. It’s a devastating testimony for a lack of any ethics.
I know we should be friendly and polite here, but celebrating violence against innocent people because they perceive them as ‘enemies’ is - at best - brainwashed, and it is mentally derailed at worst. Just read the linked study or go to the comms and read the posts there yourself.

46·6 days agoOP’s post history contains exclusively pro -China and anti-Western propaganda narratives, but this here has a special spin. Not that condemning Israel’s atrocities is wrong, but while posting this here OP’s communities literally celebrating Russia’s atrocities against Ukrainian civilians or China’s genocide against people in Tibet, East Turkistan (Xinjiang), and Inner Mongolia.

It’s a deeply repugnant mindset.

2·6 days agoChinese carmakers have always been struggling with fierce price wars since the domestic industry has emerged. One BYD manager last year warned of a ‘blood bath’ (their word) if this continues.
Many Chinese companies went bankrupt over the years, and literally all others are fighting for their survival. This is a major reason why they seek relief in exports. As in many other industries, China’s automobile sector depends heavily on gaining export markets.

I get your point, but there appears to be some ‘hierarchy’ in the Russian military depending Russians and foreigners.
Not long ago, there was a post by a Russian soldier who films foreign mercenaries singing and says:
It’s absolutely disgusting.
And the tankies in their communities are literally cheering the violence.
