I know. But if pre-ordering videogames taught me something, it’s that you never pre-order anything.

That’s why it only really works when it’s organised and everyone is participating
So like… a general strike? :)

I’m from Italy. Here general strikes are common.

I’m not sure people would actually do that. People are already drugged by these apps; a slow boring algorithm wouldn’t give them the dopamine hit they get every time they open Instagram or TikTok.

100% agree with you.
If I open Instagram Reels, I can’t stop scrolling. Half an hour, or 40 minutes will pass in the blink of an eye without even realising it. Then I’ll feel empty inside, as if I wasted a piece of my life (I mean, I actually did).
And it’s not the same as watching TV or YouTube videos. They can also be a pointless activity, but at least you’re actively choosing what to watch, and it has some kind of meaning, or story. It can be informative or entertaining.
Reels are just many quick dopamine rushes in a row.

7zip (or its modern GUI fork NanaZip) is free and open source.

General strikes are illegal
This is fucked up beyond belief. Strikes should be a right for every single worker

privileged enough to be able
My European mind can’t comprehend this. Strikes are a right for every single worker, even the most unprivileged ones (with very few exceptions for public safety reasons)

Risky move, but I hope you’ll enjoy it.

I think that if English is not your first language, you should find an instance in your language. Way less instances to choose from, and you also get to see many communities in your language

Yeah we should contribute more on nsfw communities.

Don’t bother doing that. Just switch to Firefox, install uBlock Origin and you’re golden.

Exactly. We better stop using Chrome. I mean, we should stop using Google products altogether. But for YouTube, it’s impossible to find an alternative that has the same content.

I don’t care when my only way to watch YouTube it’s either:

You better learn to read better, son.

I’m Italian, and trust me: carbonara is not more than 70 years old…
Same thing for tiramisù.

And also super close to Russia…

There’s a proximity sensor to detect if the screen is covered.
Ericsson FTW!!!
