That’s fair i guess.

For an outsider, it seems like Russia gets punished for the same crimes that other western nations have committed and continue to commit even today. Europe and America still continue to support invasions and occupations in the middle east and hence these sanctions seems especially hipocritical.

My comment on colonialism was in response to you mentioning Russia’s historical conquest of Eastern Europe. European countries were busy colonising other parts of the world during the same time so they’re not better than Russia.

*cyclists whenever shimano drops a new upgrade to the same 10 speed derelliuer.
This is why Star Citizen keeps getting more and more funding.

Harry Potter was the Mr Beast of Millennial kids.

The protagonist and the villain are both top 1%ers with class consciousness.

Yeah colonialism and military conquest is only bad when it’s done to you, not when it’s done by you.
And as for the Copenhagen criteria are there any metrics that can be used to determine whether a country is a functioning market economy or politically stable enough, or is it just a set of vague guidelines to keep the membership limited to whoever they like?

You’re getting down voted only because most people on this platform are from US and Europe.
While I get what Putin is doing now is indefensible, I have not heard a single explanation as to why Russia has been excluded from NATO and EU. Nor have I understood the western paranoia regarding China. And all I can surmise from this is that US and Europe have continued their exploitation of poor countries through corporations and tried to exclude Russia, China and their allies from the global order.

Does this include the spending done on AI and data centers? Imagine the state of the economy if there wasn’t a debt fuelled economic bubble floating around.

Wealth and Asset Taxes now!

If the gross margins are higher on the GLP optimised Food options, the companies will be incentivised to sell more of those rather than conventional products. And more shelf space and ad space etc will be allocated to these too, making conventional products less readily available.

While advertising for literal scams. About 10% of Meta’s revenue is from literal scams.

This Jeffery Epstein stuff looks a lot like World Economic Forum more than anything, a circle jerk of the rich and elite.
With all the layoffs right now, it’s a great opportunity for unions to make people aware about them and how they can be beneficial.
I wish unions were more active on LinkedIn, so that we could like and share their posts. Recent layoffs at Omnicom/IPG have led to people discussing unions in the advertising subreddit…
Everything on YouTube apart from niche special interest content creators has gone to shit because all these high viewership channels got bought out by private equity.

The choice of words is really off to me. Sounds too much like corporate speak I guess.

Because who uses “thank you for taking the time to get to know each other” in common everyday usage?

It reads as very inauthentic. Just like HR workers who pretend to be nice (and on your side) while prioritising the company’s interests over yours.
