I am paying attention to both Ladybird and Servo but am not yet “excited” about either. I am hoping they both continue to improve and become more usable (for me - YMMV) but do not expect the possibility of Daily Driver usage (again, for my use model) for at least another year.

Every so often (maybe once a year) I look through my music collection and then go “Oh, I forgot about this band that I used to love” and then look them up and see if anything new from them is out. If the band has broken up I also look up the band members to see what bands they are now in or people they have worked with etc. The Six degrees of separation thing works quite well.

I turned off telemetry in Firefox as soon as I installed it. I don’t constantly monitor that setting.

I have regularly seen settings I have previously turned off become re-enabled after an update so, maybe not “constantly” but occasionally (a.k.a. “after an update”) I certainly do monitor those settings.

No idea. Once I recognized their mental disorder and cut ties I have never heard from or talked to them again.
