32·7 months agoI was never a “Mac” person. But I took the leap to escape windows with the Mac studio ultra. I use video and photo edit tools a lot. Used my existing peripheral devices. Expensive but the most silent and powerful machine I’ve ever owned. Software is my only complaint at times but I’ll live with it. I’ll definitely continue down M series for my main device.
In context of the larger thread, I need to figure out how to get graphene on my current phone. I nerfed the AI crap Samsung was forcing on me. But who knows if I got everything. I’ll assume I didn’t. Fdroid or graphene… That’s my summer project.
Honestly thought it was a bullet vibe and then I read the community this was posted in. And then looked again. Marker cap. Ohh. That also makes sense. Hard to put it in context when one doesn’t have children haha.
Having been on some readings I had not picked up in a second recently, two to poison and be each other’s alibi is what went thru my head first lol.
Nothing else to do with the thread. Just the first thought that went thru my head- any rat bastard that lives that shit deserves to be poisoned by both.

I’m sure it was very real moment for you. I hope, therefore, that it wasn’t too cruel of me to laugh very loudly at the whole situation. Kids are… Special.

25·10 months agoI’m in the US. I’ve stopped getting stuff made in the red states (sadly Evan Williams that I love as well). Cut off Amazon and Target. The list is huge. It’s a process unfortunately. But I’m buying Canadian where I can. Especially that sweet syrup. Love you guys.

15·11 months agoAbsolutely take paternity. Why wouldn’t you?
Grew up in Asia. Only moved to the US for undergrad… And this applies. So it’s not just the Americans methinks.

Thank you so much for taking the time! I am going to try and follow.
I need to do this. I hope I can get my money back but they can choke on it if not I guess.
Okay I’m researching tuta now … I have a 2 year sub already though. Was literally in the process of moving from Gmail. Self hosted is tough for me. I guess this is the new normal. Milkshake duck…

Yeah everything else tracked. But they bung the last bullet.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•If you are a young person you have no idea how bad everyone and everything smelled until at least the 1990s.
13·1 year agoGrew up in Asia. The less fancy one. Used to go buy my Dad cigarettes from across the street and toss out the filters when I was like 8 lol.
*He’s been smoke free for over 22 years. The amount of disinformation from Big tobacco, at least where I grew up, was insane. He is a very educated man and still… Cigarette was a status symbol, symbol of sophistication, when he was growing up.
