Mate, you’re talking an awful lot but still not prove how its theft for me to rent a property I own and I bought and I pay taxes for? I’m not forcing you to live in my fucking studio apartment, its a service. An accommodation. I’m not stopping you from buying your own.

I’m sorry but I myself bought my first property and I’m looking forward to buy a second one (a studio) as we plan to have children, that studio will be rented out for 10+ years. Bought paid with cash from my own business after working my ass in factories for many years. Property on which I’m paying taxes nonetheless and I’m paying taxes on the rent that I will charge as well. Where’s the theft on my part in this situation? The fact that I managed to earn some money and locked it in a property for my future generations? The fuck.
Also not to mention that the studio is 50k and the rent is about 250, not even getting my money back on it anytime soon.
With all due respect, I can’t agree with this. It’s theft when a multi billion company buys home properties and then rents and manipulates the market. If someone buys a house and succeeds into buying himself another studio apartment for future kids and in the meanwhile rents it, that’s not theft, pal.

Niciun rezultat concret. Zero condamnări. Zero reforme reale.

World News@lemmy.world•Forces given ‘blank check’ to kill protesters in Iran, senior official saysEnglish
21·6 days agoEveryone agrees that killing protesters is wrong, no matter the number. The real issue isn’t just about how many deaths justify action, it’s about fairness. Why do some countries face outrage and others don’t?
Instead of arguing over numbers, maybe we should focus on how to hold all governments accountable without making things worse. (Which is just dreams, we can’t really hold anyone accountable nowadays)
Violence from outside rarely fixes things, but ignoring injustice isn’t the answer either. The goal should be justice for all, not just the cases that fit our biases, and no country should unilaterally decide when or how to intervene in another’s affairs without facing serious scrutiny.
Ultimately, I don’t believe the US and Israel would intervene in Iran to protect protesters. It feels more like a pretext to install a regime that serves their own interests, more precisely, Israels interest. For “the great israel”.
Also, never forget Holodomor, done by the zionist stalin in order to decimate a freedom movement at that time.

4·6 days agoBoth of us use different antennas (literally scrap), we use meshstatic with raspberries.
This will be of much help if you’re looking to get started: https://meshtastic.org/docs/hardware/
Also 300km is indeed almost obstacle free, there’s lots of villages and forests in between but one of the antenna is located on 12th floor of a building in a city. Coverage is not really the issue, even inside the city with all interference, we did manage to establish a proper connection within 3km, one antenna on 4th floor and the other one on the first floor with lots of tall buildings in between. (Worked much better than expected)
Mad fun project to get started with, highly recommended. Is it of much use? Not yet, not really. But we are planning on pumping up the power a little bit, add a few more nodes and hopefully we will be able to deploy a Lemmy or something and step by step we will create our own shitty “undernet”.

We need to learn to take off our horse glasses and watch further than religion, especially in times like these.

1·7 days agoNobody asked me about that. I’ve been contributing to projects for the past year more than ever. Gave up on my job in order to open a business, plenty of free time and I’m just grinding contributions, from gaming projects such as WoW emulators, to time trackers, network nodes, IDE plugins and libraries which needed small fixes.
Actually, ever since LLMs, pumping code for free is way way way more easier nowadays.

12·7 days agoNumber wise, the proud boogalo boys are definitely bigger. But despite that, most significant rallies and movements were mostly initiated by jewish zionists. Actually quite a few “white supremacy christian” groups were funded by jewish zionists. Nonetheless, both groups deserve exactly the same thing. Neither the zionists are true jews and neither those so called “christians” have anything to do with Christianity.

81·7 days agoI actually built a LoRa network with a mate, if we stretch our antenas we can cover almost 300km with little to no energy but the latency is absolutely trash, though communication wise it works alright.
We should have less and less trust handling our data like we currently do.
