Genuine question trying to understand from the other side: I quickly scanned the intro and it looks like it shows these characters walking together. Is the spoiler stance mostly because the season is new and there’s a courtesy period of (arbitrarily chosen for an example) 1 month?

1·3 months agoSorry if I’m being dense here. I think i understand that it’s difficult to navigate these public areas with various ailments (wheelchair, sight, etc).
I think what I’m fundamentally struggling with is that some of the public areas feel…exorbitant to convert? Like, how do you convert a mountain trail to be wheelchair accessible, and safe for those less sighted?
Or, am I over indexing on the totality, and the goal is simply “some more would be nice” (like beach trails with auditory stations)?

2·6 months agoPlease show me where I “stubbornly defend” eating meat. I literally agree with the message and disagree with your delivery.
I didnt say eating meat was OK, I called you a hypocrite for supporting other facets of reality that perturb conscious life, because it’s “impossible” to avoid (see: communities that get a hell of a lot closer than you).
You used literally the same argument you despise from meat eaters.
Hilarious how someone who disagrees with your presentation format is immediately regarded as violent, maybe the religious reference was more apt than I expected, you zealot.

3·6 months agoNot discounting your point, it’s valid. It is cheaper, healthier, and 99+% of excuses are BS (barring excessive compounding of food allergies). Buuuuut it feels hypocritical if you support companies that leverage child/prison/slave labor because “it’s impossible not to”; Aren’t a bunch of Amish communities (almost) self sufficient? If not, I’m confident they at least support fewer morally grey companies than us. So why do you get to decide where the line is drawn?
I respect your passion, and agree with your mission. Just feels like youre going about it aggressively.
Probably a poor analogy, but would you rather join a religion that teaches “Hey, we should respect each other, and here’s how”, or “If you dont, eternal punishment. Shame during your lifetime. Eternal woe”
Fundamentally, it could be the same religion with different evangelists. You feel like the latter.

1·6 months agoPlease inform me:
How do you get your energy? Did you build your own wind turbines, or is part of it using fossil fuels? Which ISP are you using? Are they morally acceptable? Do you grow your own food, make your own tools, make your own clothes, and build your own home? I would love to hear about the device youre using, and how 0 of its resources harmed humans and any other life (be it extraction, manufacturing, etc). This includes all software as well. Is the country you reside in completely faultless, or do you inherently support them with taxes?
I may commend you, Walden.
Im questioning the hostility you bring, as it generally makes people more defensive. You never responded to my question about local vegan efforts (supplying food, distributing, educating, funding, etc), so I’ll assume all of your efforts are virtual (where I can guarantee at least one immoral act was performed to enable your “platform”)
I actually am curious of your journey to net 0 harm, but I have a feeling you havent gotten there. So keep on virtue signaling, I guess?

1·6 months agoIm curious if you spend this much time and effort on positive education (e.g. vegan food banks) or if you prefer instigating arguments in unrelated discussions
Ah, touche, didnt realize I could see both ends of it 🙃

3·1 year agoSorry for the silly question. I feel I see a lot of tiger + zookeeper/handler videos where what I assume is a non-domesticated cat acts fairly domesticated. Is it just that no one bothers to train/raise raccoons, or what’s up?
My guess is sympathetic response and adjacent fears (an axe murderer might not attack you, but a fear of a “strange” neighbor could be unnecessarily exacerbated)
