Isn’t that likely compounded if children of first cousins end up reproducing with children from first cousins, and so on? As a one-off, those figures might be the case, but could well increase if the practice is endemic.

Best to add a “yet” to the end of that sentence. This is just one more rung to the ladder.

It was great while it lasted, and I thank those that ran it. A breath of fresh air after initially being on an instance that decided to nanny its users by defederating from instances for no good reasons.
